ATTN: Travel Manager/Arranger/Travelers
Effective today, companies that are earning points on the Northwest Airlines BizPerks Program will earn points when travelers fly on Delta Air Lines flights. BizPerks customers will now earn points on flight numbers that begin with NW, DL, or KL.
The full integration of the Northwest BizPerks and Delta SkyBonus programs will be completed around Q1 of 2010. At that time, Delta Air Lines will introduce their “new” SkyBonus program and companies will be able to link their BizPerks and SkyBonus accounts through the website www.skybonus.delta.com. Until this date, Northwest BizPerks members will continue to earn and redeem their points as usual. After integration, BizPerks points previously earned are safe and will continue to be valid for use in the SkyBonus program.
Until the two programs are fully integrated, the current terms and conditions of the BizPerks program will be in effect. Please note that because BizPerks points expire 3 years after the year they were earned, now is a good time for the administrator of your company’s BizPerk account to login to the BizPerks website and determine if there are any points scheduled to expire this year. If so, we encourage companies to redeem your expiring BizPerks points for awards before December 31, 2009. Once redeemed, BizPerks flight award certificates are valid for one year from the date of issue and are valid on all Delta flights.
