Now that Continental Airlines has left the SkyTeam® Alliance (as of October 24, 2009), Delta Air Lines has announced they will match travelers’ current Continental Elite status through the Delta SkyMiles® program.

To take advantage of this Elite program match, travelers must email, fax, or phone their request by December 31, 2009 to receive matched status.  To complete their match, travelers need to include their full name, SkyMiles number, Continental Elite status and OnePass membership number, plus a copy of their most recent statement or Elite credentials.

Traveler’s status will be matched within 3 business days of submitting the request and will be good through February 28, 2011.
