Effective today, Delta SkyMile elite members and Northwest WorldPerk elite members will be eligible to receive complimentary upgrades on Delta and Northwest flights.  Please be aware that companions will only be eligible for an upgrade on the actual airline where the elite member has status.

This new rule allows Travel One to automatically request an upgrade at the time of ticketing on applicable DL or NW coded flights, and will also show the elite status printed on the boarding pass.

Elite upgrades continue to only be available for travel within/between the U.S. (excluding Hawaii) and Canada, Bermuda, the Caribbean, Mexico, Central and non BusinessElite markets in South America.  Upgrades are based on member status and booking class.  If the status and paid class of service are the same, clearance order will be determined by the time of the request.  Pending upgrades will automatically be added to the Airport Standby List.
