The upcoming Republican National Convention will take place in St. Paul, MN September 1 - 4, 2008.  Travel into and out of MSP International Airport is expected to be more difficult due to the added Convention traffic.

Hotel rooms in the city and surrounding area are sold out - beginning the week before the convention.  Also, check-in lines and security lines are expected to be significantly longer than usual.  Travel One recommends travelers arrive at the airport at least 2 hours before departure during this time period.
