United Airlines has increased the fee it charges passengers to change tickets from $100 to $150 in an effort to offset high fuel costs.

In addition, the airline has added Saturday night stay requirements in markets where it competes with other "legacy" carriers - affecting approximately 65% of all the markets it serves.  This rule will have the most impact on business travelers, who typically don't spend a Saturday night in their destination.
