Honeymoon-Fall 2007-3 weeks in Europe
Dear Friends & Family-
We have chosen Europe for our honeymoon destination because of our mutual love of art, architecture, food & wine. We will be spending three weeks traveling Amsterdam, Paris, and Italy while relaxing with each other as newlyweds. This will be a luxury for so many reasons, not the least of which is our juggling jobs, school and Jeff’s glassblowing.
Our starting point will be Amsterdam where we will spend three days touring museums and acquainting ourselves with the culture of the Netherlands. From there we’ll move on to Paris to bask in the romance of the French capital.
Our main focus will be two weeks in Italy traveling from Milan to Venice to Florence and ending in Rome. While in Rome we will be visiting relatives and touring vineyards and museums. We will take a day to travel south to Pompeii to visit the once-prosperous city at the foot of Mt. Vesuvius. (Now an important archeological site.)
The third member of our family, Jonah, a 4-year-old Weimaraner, will be spending the honeymoon with friends.
