Following in the footsteps of Continental Airlines, several other airlines including United Delta/Northwest, American, and US Airways have announced they are going to increase the cost to check bags on flights by $5.

Most airlines will waive this fee increase if passengers check-in online 24-hours prior to departure, with the notable exception of American Airlines.  The effective dates and passengers exempt from paying these fees vary slightly by airline, please consult with your Travel One agent or the airline website for exact details.
