ATTN: Travel Manager/Arranger/Travelers
Authorities have shutdown the MSP International Airport after a bomb squad dog alerted officers to a suspicious bag. The K-9 discovered the device in the luggage carousel. Portions of the baggage claim area have been temporarily closed.
People are not allowed on the lower level road to pick up passengers and travelers are being rerouted to the east upper road way. All roads to the ticketing levels have been also been closed.
According to travelers at the airport, half of the ticket area was cordoned off with yellow police tape and there is an increased police presence.
If you have a flight leaving this afternoon, Travel One strongly recommends you check the departure time before going to the airport.
